Bio & Legal Experience
Antonio Finley is originally from New Orleans, Louisiana. His passion for law and music led him to attend Southern University in Baton Rouge, Louisiana, where he pursued a degree in criminal justice and became a member of the world-renowned Human Jukebox at Southern University and A&M College. Antonio graduated from Southern University & A&M College in 2017 with a Bachelor of Science degree in criminal justice. He then continued his academic pursuits at Southern University Law Center, where he received his Juris Doctorate in 2022.
He is currently an attorney at Gordon McKernan Injury Attorney Offices specializing in personal injury and workers’ compensation. Antonio is a driven and accomplished professional who strives to be a zealous advocate for those seeking justice with a strong credence of achievement in every field of human endeavor and is committed to making a positive difference in the lives of those he serves. Notable Representations
Mr. Finley’s representative engagements in private practice include the following:
- Co-lead counsel in the successful defense of multiple workers’ compensation matters that resulted in positive outcomes for the Claimant(s).
- Lead counsel for the Claimant’s in litigation involving a denial of workers’ compensation benefits that resulted in a fair award for his client who otherwise would have received nothing for future medical treatment.
In addition to litigation, Mr. Finley has successfully represented clients in matters that did not result in a trial, understanding that for many clients a trial is not the best route of that client’s interest. Representative engagements include Successfully engaging in more than 30 settlement negotiations, mediations, settlement conferences, and Office of Workers’ Compensation consultations.
